There are a few issues here. First recuiting, its wrong, but how do you prove that a coach is recruiting a QB to leave one school and go to another unless the QB or his parents tell you? Secondly, it sounds as if the administration / AD was catching heat so they got rid of coach. AD is not going to take the fall. Its unfortunate but it happens in coaching and in the real world.

RECRUITING IS MORALLY, ETHICALLY WRONG ON THE HS LEVEL. But it happens and the longer I am in this profession, the more I see it. It is a huge problem around the Charlotte, NC and Greensboro, NC areas. Stuff on local message boards/newspapers all the time. It's a shame kids and their parents feel the need to "shop around" for the best team in their area. I hear the biggest reason it happens around here is HS coaches are not doing a good enough job in the parents/players mind in helping them get recruited so they are all clamoring around to go where there are coaches that promote the kids and help get them recruited. Again, I don't know all the details...this is just what I am hearing/seeing...
