How fast does your district move to post open coaching positions? Keep in mind this is the midwest.
Say an assistant resigned in December, would they wait until June or July to post it? Or would they mmove quicker.

We'd post almost immediately. The issue, the teaching positions you might like to link them to are only posted once we have an official resignation as well.
So - we have a DC job that is posted, we have interested candidates, but no teaching jobs have posted yet to link them to.

I will find out shortly. An assistant stepped down this week. HC is stepping down today. No teaching available.

Its always about board approval. Often football jobs dont get approved until July.

For an assistant coach, the job would be posted the day after the previous coach resigned. They would leave it open for a minimum of 10 days or longer if they don't feel like they have enough people/candidates for interviews. Normally, it doesn't last for more than 10 days. Interviews on day 11 and the guy is in the weight room/meeting room/etc. day 12.
