Can someone point me to an internet site or a store that sells whiteboards. I want to buy one that is about the same size that are in classrooms. Thanks.

you can spend alot of money on whiteboards or you can go to home depot and buy a "whiteboard" in 4'x8' for about 10 bucks. I bought the $200 dollar one before I knew any better, I'll be glad to sell it and go to Home Depot myself.....LOL

Amen on shower board Jhanawa, my entire basement wall on one side is this stuff.
Just make sure and dont leave the marker lines up overnight. They tend to leave a permanent mark.

Can someone tell me what a "shower board" is?
Or what the main difference is. Thanks.

If you don't need a very large one, check craigslist. That's where I got mine. I think it's a 4x3. The board has a tray at the bottom to hold the markers. It also came with two clipboard size whiteboards (one with a football field imprinted), several markers, erasers, a stand and, a nice carrying case with pouches for the board and all of items. I think I paid $20 bucks for it.

Another option is to use this stuff called idea paint. Our program uses it and from what I understand you basically paint any flat surface, once it dries you have yourself a whiteboard. Not sure on the pricing, but you can check out the website. www.ideapaint.com/

Can someone tell me what a "shower board" is? Or what the main difference is. Thanks. It is ideally used for bathroom areas, but as Cisar said, make to sure to clean it often...

That Idea Paint is expensive! 200 bucks per 50 square feet and 50 square feet is the smallest amount you can buy.

The showerboard can become permanent if it's not removed soon. I learned that the hard way.

DC,
My Kids have been out of the house for a few years and I discussed with my wife about doing the Formica thing in the lower level family room and she said NO WAY!!, but she had no territory rights to any leftover room in the garage. We have an oversize 2 1/2 car garage and I am in process of lining my side of the garage with the gloss Formica. She actually likes the look of it in the garage and she gave me some "stimulus/bailout" funds to put in a biga$$ Heater that hangs off the ceiling. This is Awesome! I don't even see her until about midnight now and I have a great "Coaching Cave" to enjoy. I now have other coaches dropping by all the time and they are looking for an old refrigerator to donate for adult beverage storage. I have a massive computer setup, wireless Internet, a LCD projector, and all my other football treasures out in the garage and it is a perfect setup. My truck is now outside in the elements, but I am in hog heaven with this setup!!

That's awesome wccoach. I"ve actually been considering moving into a 2 bedroom apartment, so I can make me a football office with a nice big white board on one side.

The showerboard can become permanent if it's not removed soon. I learned that the hard way. We use the white shower board. Get it at Lowes for 10 to 15. We cut it to fit any area we need in the office. We replace them every couple years. Cheap way to get it done.
