Coaches,
How should a pratice by adjusted based on a physical maturity?
It's an exam question and I don't have any experience dealing with that! We are too small to be organized that way
THank all

You mean like....never let a rookie, 80 lb. kid(that doesn't know how to defend himself) hit against a 150 lb. kid thats been playing for several years?.....That kind of physical maturity?....or like.....never match up an 8 yr. old against a 12 yr old? Most of that kind of stuff is common sense to me, really....you match up kids or groups of kids, "in practice" by either age.....size.....skill level.....if the match-up isn't fair, neither kid will learn anything......during a game, their on their own....you can't control the match-ups in most cases, only the fact that you put them in the game, ready or not! Hope this is what you mean?

When practicing I try to use the GOOD on GOOD thought.
In our league you will come across a player playing 8-10 max weight at the start of the season 113lbs to be 12 but he would weigh less than 93 lbs.
But you also need to understand that to help that player(s) who are not at the "good" stage that they need to go up against the "good "player to get better. It only helps the team as a hole during practice as well as during the game season.
