The following three speakers are coming to a coaching clinic here in Minnesota. Are they worth listening to?
Jim Rackley, Converse Judson.......I formation run game Steve Specht, St. Xavier, Ohio........3-3 stack George Curry.....Wyoming Area, PA
I don't want this thread to turn into a bitch session or something where a coach gets ripped. So if you have heard them speak, or know they would speak well on thier topic please comment.
Kind of the old "if you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything at all"

Curry is a 400 plus game winner. Hes a legendary Pa Coach. I bet he talks about that one time he was nearly fired but a single vote saved him. He may also give you his 10 commandments for parents. Ask him for that.

If you listen to Rackley...you will be fired on up to put the pads on right that second. Great speaker that knows how to motivate players and coaches.

I have heard Specht speak and he is very professional with his presentation. He went over the basics of his 30 stack but was very through with the presentation...
A couple things to keep in mind if you do not know anything about him....1) he coaches at a very good private school and has great (smart football sense) kids 2) With it being private he can attract kids from all around the greater cincinnati area and does..The year I heard him talk he had at least 4 kids off the defense (that I can remember) go d-1.
Like was already said if you want to learn the 30 stack listen to him. Also, I know of one staff in particular that spent a couple days with him and said he was very open and a great guy to talk to.....So if you have any questions he is very approachable...

Rackley is one of the best I've ever heard just from a sheer motivational aspect, but his content is excellent as well.
Sounds like an awesome clinic, is it a Glazier?

OK a question about two other speakers:
Tom Horne (former) HC at Valparaiso: "The 4 greatest pass routes in America"
Kevin Feeney Fargo South HS: Multiple formations, shifts, and motions.
Got great feedback on this thread before so looking for the same type of postive response or nothing at all. Thanks.

Hope you guys know I was kidding. Tom Horne is a very knowledgeable football coach and was pretty successful at Valpo. He is also a friend of mine. Check him out back in the 80s!
He was at Iowa Wesleyan before Mumme

Curry's notes will be tough to share since it was mostly drill demonstration.
I am in the process of typing up the notes I took from Rackley and will post those.
