I am organizing a youth coaches clinic. I am looking for suggestions as to what coaches at this level would like to learn (i.e. fundamentals, schemes, how the kids can succeed at the next level). Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Thank You

Practice organization Dealing with Parents I agree with both of those and would add Player evaluations- Drills to separate players during tryouts. Fundamental-Drills Also if anyone knows of any Clinics in the Utah area please let me know.

The player Eval process and all the games/drills we use to do it is in the Practice Org segment and includes video clips of most of them The Practice Org segment has an entire section on dealing with parents including the Setting expectations speech, managing the team and Spectator Contracts etc and a small mini role play thing on how to diffuse a difficult incident.
Fundamental drills are covered in each segment: Offensive line segments- would have fundamental o-line drills Defensive segement_would have all the base defensive fundy movements/drills we do etc
We did SLC last year at the Downtown Homewood Suites across from the park. We may do it again but have not decided.
