Here is an article on a very successful "young" youth football program in Baton ROuge: www.2theadvocate.com/features/35289084.htmlThe guy that started the program is Don Berniard, he has no children playing. I went down to help Don out in 2007, great guy. They practice under an interstate overpass with no bathrooms, very litle grass, lots of trash etc, very hard to hear. Don picked up 8-9 kids to go to practice in his SUV every day, the kids lived in shacks. The kids: the happiest most hardworking group Ive ever seen. Ive never heard so many please and thank yous in 2 days. Great kids, excellent listeners, just off the charts. Don runs a "complete" program: football, life skills, academics with a faith component. He has done a lot with very little. In just 4 years he is now at 4 teams. They all competed for league titles this season, he has over 90% retention and he has some amazing turnaround stories of kids that were heading in the wrong direction. They are Single Wingin it too in the Bayou Hats off to Don and guys like Don.

Just previewed Cisar's practice planning DVD and if this guy is using some of Cisar's stuff I can see why he is successful. Understanding how to organize and plan a practice is half of the battle.
