How do your teams make the playoffs though? Is there a point system? How many of your games are predetermined because of your conference, district, etc? we have a district then inner district playoff system. In our district and class the top 8 teams (top 4 from two regions/leagues) make it if you win districts then you end up in the inner districts. Some districts do a point system some do not. Some districts do not have alot of teams in one class so maybe only 4 teams make that districts playoffs. we play 8 region games then must go and play 2 indy games. Here is the A or smallest class bracket: www.easternpafootball.com/2008brackets/2008.A.pdf

When does your season start if you are starting your playoffs at the end of oct? We started Aug 11 for two weeks of camp this year and then played our first game Aug 29. Ten week regular season, I know one district plays 9 games and starts their playoffs a week early.

the one thing that I do like about our state is that you play into the playoffs. Win your league and you are in, get second and you are in. No real seeding (other than league A winner plays league B second place, etc. in the first round), no point systems, no BS, just playing football
