Hey coaches that subscribe to AFM, have you noticed nothing has been changed on their website and they are not answering emails as to what is going on. It's the middle of the month and nothing new has happened. Anyone have any info to share?

I got mine this month but almost every article is tied to a video they are selling in the middle of the magazine. I don't like it.

I live in Fort Lauderdale just south of there and there is no problem with hurricanes... and I have also been disappointed in the content or should I say advertisements

What I was told is that their printer was in Texas and the building was damaged by a hurricane, so they had to switch printing shops. I didn't get my October issue until the first week of November and am not expecting my Nov issue any time soon.

Regardless, just seems like they are more interested in your money than actually helping coaches. IMHO!!!

One thing that made me chuckle this month was that they had linebacker drills from the Washington universities linebacker coach. WAshington is 0-10 and giving up like 40 some points a game. Why do I want drills from them!?

I know that they probably have good coaches, I like Ty Willingham a lot actually. It just made me chuckle a bit. I know anyone coaching at that level is probably a pretty darn good coach. I'm just saying the timing of posting it, as willingham and his staff are getting let go, seemed unusual.

They blew a huge l;ead last yea to UW-Whitewater it was awesome. Anyone coaching at the D1 level is there because they can flat out coach. No matter what the team's record is, that has nothing to do with your knowledge and expetise as a coach.

Also, fellas, in addition to the printing press issues, they have changed their Senior Editor, as Rex is "No longer with the compnay" that added some delays too. THough I am liking Mike Kuchar's voice in the mag. Also...there ARE some articles by Huey members in their sister mag, Gridiron Strategies! and Kurt Bryan and Byron Hamilton Of the A-11 Offense and Shoutgun Zone FLy fame are members here too.

I have some information for all of you on the this subject. This is inside information.
The reason that everyones AFM(Nov) is late is because the parent company of AFM(L.C. Clark Publishing) owed money to the print company that the use in Wisconsin. The print company said that they were not going to print and ship anymore mags until L.C. Clark paid their bill. L.C. Clark has had some financial problems, but has restructured things now into a better situation. L.C. Clark has paid the print company and things should be getting back to normal.
You may ask how I received this information. At one point I was the editor of the "Drills Report" section in AFM so I worked with people at the magazine

All I know is that it's Dec 1st and I still don't have November's issue. It's too bad because I do really enjoy the magazine but this is getting to be a proper pain in the a$$.

Straight from AFM costumer service:
This should give you better understanding on what is going on right now. Due to several storms, we had to change our Printer. They closed due to their business was destroyed by Hurricane Ike. The issues have and will be late most likely through the rest of the year, including the October, November and December issues. They will be mailing at the end of the month instead of first part of the month each month.
We appreciate your business and hope you will understand and bear with us during this transition. The new issues will be online for your viewing at the beginning of each month, but the physical copy will be received at end of month. November has not mailed yet. Should mail in next 5-7 days.
Again, we will appreciate your patience and understanding during this transitional time.
Regards
Karen Sullivan
so theres waht they gave me for an answer.
