Call up Coach Shillito at Zeeland West High School in Michigan one of the best coaches running this offense. I think he puts on a clinic every year.

I think it was originally called the Split-T. Don Faurot was one of the developers. Bud Wilkinson had a great run at Oklahoma with it.

I stand corrected, Ted. I'm not a great historian of the game of football.

From the guys that know best powertfootball.proboards57.comThomas Bailey runs the board, he's the guy you want to talk to but everybody over there knows their stuff. I ran it this year that's where I got my playbooks from...and from Ted Seay as usual.

Look up information on Olivet College. There are some great videos on Youtube of them. There is actually a 2+ hour game on youtube.

In Michigan there are a bunch of HS teams doing very well with it, setting State rushing records, several last year over 4,000 yards rushing. Go on the delphi board and ask. The base series is the FB trap, HB off tackle power, QB keep sweep, all off the same backfield action. Ive seen HS teams run this with just the 3 plays (Zeeland West) for an entire half

They're all pretty much the same honestly. You can do like Irv Sigler and add some Wing T to enhance the misdirection aspect. the counters seem to hit as fast as the base plays do

I like to call it...
Too many men in the backfield...
Anything more than a single back is screaming 8 to 9 in the box... and who wants to deal with that madness!

not familiar with GOOB i used TKO, we didnt win a game, but we moved the ball, when we blocked. Though next year I think i'm switching to belly T, or Wing T.

GOOB = inside gap, outside gap, on, over, backside
Why WingT?
