Gil Brandt really shows an ignorance of the current world track and field environment in this article. WR holders in track don't have much use for being a "why not" type of draft choice/free agent signing. The list of outstanding football players who were not Olympic track athletes is so much greater than the list of those who were....I think the question must be asked..why bother, ESPECIALLY with someone who was not a football player previously.

Exactly my thoughts, but I thought I'd throw the article out there for lookin' anyway.
I can imagine a coach telling him to run a fade and being like, "Huh?'

I remember seeing that video on YouTube. Funniest video I had seen in a long while. lol That's why QB's shouldn't spike the ball ;D There was an article I read about a reporter asking Mike Leech if he would be going to Jamaica to recruit. It was discussing the possibility of someone like Bolt getting recruited by D1 Schools. I know Bolt in particular is making way to much money to leave it, and if I remember correct from that controversy with that Colorado WR who was a skier, he would have to give up all the endorsements to play. Thant's not going to happen. Aznando
