I am new to coaching and its been a long time since i played but i have a question about wishbone offense.
Can i line up my split WR on the same side as my TE. So lets say i called a Split Left Motion 26 Pitch, with my motion guy doing a crack back.
This is for youth football.
Thanks.

You can, but you can't motion the WR. The TE also won't be eligible because he will be "covered up" by the WR.
You have to have 7 men on the line of scrimmage.

If you have 3 in the backfield behind the QB, the split must be on the LOS to have 7 men on the line. Being on the line, he must be set. If he is on the line outside the TE, the TE is now covered and is an ineligible receiver.

Are you really a female coach? If so that's pretty cool.

Thanks for the replies guys, How about if i switched it to this.
A Double Tight End so i will have 7 on the line, my fullback on the left off the line, can he then go in motion and also can my tight end on the left side release in case i wanted to do a fake crack X out. It sorda like a wishbone set but i will bring in the receiver as a tight end and my fullback goes out like a 4 back or is it a flanker.
Thanks.
