I'm trying to be more organized as a coach and I was planning on buying a bunch of towels to keep balls try and for our QB's and Centers to use (i.e. tuck in their belt). Anyone have a recommendation as far as size (bigger for the side line, longer and skinner for players) and type (is terry cloth ok)?

YOu might want to check with whoever the soda supplier is for your school district. They will usually give you free towels with either GATORADE or POWERADE on them.

Check with your activities association about rules on towels for QBs. Some say that there is to be no logos, etc on them. The footballs. I think you can use any type of towel.

train ball boys on how to dry balls, rotate balls with the side judge, etc. during course of the game, they may be the key to keeping the game ball dry during play.
if using towels for qb or center - again, make sure you follow the rules of your athletic governing body. and, make sure you have plenty of the appropriate size/legality available to change throughout the game. 1 towel on the qb's belt may not be viable for an entire game.
