We played a team a couple years ago that used "Bring 'Em Out". Thought it was good.

Anyone have other song ideas.
I want to start practice this year with music during our warm ups to set an enthusiastic tone to practice.
I like the rap idea, but don't listen to it much, and I know the language can get bad at times.

The bells are by far my favorite (Hells Bells by ACDC).
Try not to come into the stadium to the prayer being said - happened to us once - funny as all get out!

"Carmina Burana" Carl Orff
It is an old opera. Medieval stuff. Bring a lot of adrenaline. Have it in a mp3 file if someone interest

The Michigan fight song. I dont know the name of it. But it absolutely rocks. Hail to the Victors! Many of you have some great songs, here are two more that haven't been mentioned but they are good ones... 1. Jay-Z/Linkin Park - Encore 2. Public Enemy - Shut em' Down

New Noise-Refused
Our kids love to walk out and get jacked up in the endzone until the scream comes and they burst out. I like it too!

I don't know the name of the song but we play the Phantom of the Opera theme (I guess it's probably called "The Phantom of the Opera Theme". I'm not that big on pop culture).
Virginia Tech's "Enter the Sandman" is sweet.

The live version of The Ecstasy of Gold that Metalica plays as they take the stage for a concert. I do believe it is the theme song from The Good the Bad and the Ugly. A unique version is on their S&M album with the SF Symphony.
No words...short...great build up.

This is hard to choose- the problem with rap is there are so many flavors of the week- you'd have to change it all the time and good luck finding a decent clean version... Old school Metallica & ACDC are played out...classics, but the kids are way over it. MY PREFERENCE- BAGPIPES... Can't help but go crazy when I hear drums and pipes...it's in my blood I guess I coached lacrosse and we had live bagpipers lead us out to the field- the HC is a crazy Mick, and would get screaming & frothy at the mouth in the pregame lockerroom speech before he'd say "FIRE THEM F*ING PIPES UP, BRUCE!" A father-son combo would get them pipes blasting and off we went. You've never seen a more blood-thirsty bunch of whiteboys EVER.

I am kind of partical toth bagpipes since I used to coach for the Highlander's football program back in Oregon.
Plus, I am surprised the Red Hot CHilly Peppers "give it Away Now" isnt mentioned or Wagner's "Flight of the Valkryries"

Some random songs ROCKSacrifice, The Expendables. They're a local band that has come up, it's an interesting choice if nothing else. Breaking me down, Soil. Distortion Sleep, Soilwork. Different band than above. Might be a bit 'hard' for the spectators. The Quiet Place, In Flames. Really good stuff. RAPWhat you know about that, TI. Fun beat and chorus. Rock Superstar, Cypress Hill. Ya'll Must Have Forgot, Roy Jones Jr. Not all that good, but I love two things about it: the fairly badass chorus and the fact that he really was the best lb for lb fighter of his day. It's not bragging if it's true, right? Ahh, state testing... So much time on my hands.

One of my linebackers listened to this in the weight room every time he was going for a heavy set on bench, squat, or dead lift. He would sit there and wait until it got to the "Are you ready" part, then he'd lift...Must work pretty well, he gained 20 pounds of muscle last year.

Roy Jones Jr "Can't Be Touched" is good, but you would have to use the clean version.
Archie Eversole "We Ready", once again the clean version.
Bone Crusher "Never Scared Football Mix"

Eminem-Lose yourself and Till I Collapse are great. One of the better ones, that your players would certainly appreciate (but your fans and their parents might not) is Lil John and the Eastside Boys with"Throw it up". They curse a few too many times for most people's liking though...
Getting Away with Murder by Papa Roach is a great one to get the blood flowing. "Pain" by Three Days Grace, lots of stuff by Saliva, but especially "Raise Up".
