We are going to try and do a schedule poster for the upcoming season. We have a photographer in the area who can turn them around fast so we are planning on taking the picture after practice on the first day.....just the seniors.
So what kind of backdrop have you used? I have seen teams who pose shirtless or in "sleeveless t-shirts" (I hate the other term...you know W _ _ _-beater) on a tank or a fire truck. Then have a catchy phrase like "Burnin' up the competition" (see fire truck).
Suggestions?

Chuck - what's your mascot?
As backgrounds, I 've seen firetrucks, police cars, steam rollers, john deere stuff, fighter planes (near an air force base) construction areas, weightroom as a background, library as a background (assuming the kids knew where it was ---- badumpah) and even grave yards...

We are the Wolverines........so I don't think we can hold a live one of those in the picture! LOL.

We had ours taken in game jerseys and blue jeans last year with a semi-truck and trailer in the background. Our theme for the season was WE DELIVER!
By the way, we had the whole team in the photo, freshmen - seniors. I am not into the seniors only picture when I know that we will be starting some juniors and probably even a sophomore or two. It is just my opinion, but I don't like sending a message that the seniors are somehow more important than the others.

Have done several of the one's above including fighter jet. Best was an Apache Helicopter yet I can't remember the phrase we used. Also took one in front of an Army Hummer.

This season my seniors want to take the picture in front of a marquee at a local movie theater, holding the red and white popcorn boxes in jeans and their game jerseys and yep, you guessed it, the phrase is going to be - "Get ya popcorn ready!"
