Do any of your guys have a specific formula on rating your players? I am going through right now and taking notes on the players, but I would like to do something like a number rating or stars(like in the longest yard). I have a few guys(actually brothers in one case) that are very similar in athletic ability, but they have their little differences and I honestly cant say one is better then the other. I am not worried about stats or game play(since it is July) but I want to evaluate them. Just seeing if any one has a formula or if/how do you do it?
BTW, This is Freshmen so first year with me for some of them, but I am lucky that I just moved up this year so 75% of the team was my players last year. But next year I wont really know any of them.

I don't know what you mean by evaluate...if you want to evaluate teamwork/leadership/attitude/effort that's pretty much subjective.
You can evaluate other stuff like speed/agility times, weight lifting PRs, attendance, grades, etc.

I evaluate all of our athletes in my weight room. I have a scoring system that gives a specific number of points to the athletes for achieving higher on their lifts and vertical and 20 and mile times.
I have shirts for clubs that they can get in.
I have done this for 6 years 3 of which I was at a college and the top athletes always come out on top. If you want I can email you the system and you can adjust it to your needs.
