I played with a guy who is currently playing in the NFL, actually I am lying, he just retired I guess, but anyway, he said if you ask just about any player in the NFL who is the best player they know, they will always say some guy you have never heard of because they just didn't have it mentally or made some bad decisions along the way.

This guy went to our place. Legend has it he wasn't good at football...though he thought he was. His brother, on the other hand, was pretty good. st.baskino.com/uploads/images/2013/404/xmyr804.jpgReal football players? Spencer Havner (former UCLA All American) and maybe my favorite. Jefferson Heidelberger. Won a National title with Montana. We've had a lot of real good football players come through.

Tim was a player but he helped send a buddy of mine to the hospital. Tim used to do a stunt where he poured lighter fluid on his jersey and lit it on fire. They had a picture on the cover of Sports Illustrated. My buddy tried it except he did it on his bare chest an he rubbed the fluid in. Didn't work. None of us blamed Tim Rossovich or Sports Illustrated, Our buddy was a dumba$$ of which we reminded him continuously.

Arthur and Chandler Jones of Union Endicott both went to Syracuse and both play in the NFL. They are area legends along with there brother Jon Jones whose the current UFC light heavy weight champion. Decent guys very loyal to the Binghamton Endicott area.

My HS has had some NFLers, only one guys have probably heard of is Greg Jennings, WR currently with the Vikings.
More famously Derek Jeter is an alum of my HS.

We never had an NFL player but we had a guy in MLB and being from Michigan you might have heard of him: now-retired longtime Detroit Tigers; coach Dick Tracewski. We were the only town in the world where you could offer to trade a Mickey Mantle card for a Trecewski and not get any takers.

Yes, remember him. Light-hitting utility infielder who got three WS rings including '68 Tigers.
As coach was Sparky's right-hand man. Got another ring in '84 in that role.

i coached at my alma mater for four years and had the pleasure of coaching Marcus Harris, the 1996 Bilitnikoff Award winner at Wyoming. At my current school I coached Zach Zenner, 3 time 2,000 yard rusher at FCS South Dakota State,

Uhhhh not much to talk about here. Darell, the black dude from Road Rules on MTV. When he plays in the alumni basketball games, everyone chants "REAL WORLD!" We are vey insignificant. Supposedly my high school might be the birthplace of the word "hella".

Supposedly my high school might be the birthplace of the word "hella". The only good thing about that word is that it helps me identify people who aren't from this area immediately.

In football, I don't think anyone has played above D2. We did have someone tryout for I think the Seahawks back in the 80's though.
But we had someone play in the WNBA from my high school and someone who played in the Cubs minor league system.
