Ok now that I have your attention, I have a 1600 pound O-Line, the only catch is that it is divided between 9 guys not 5.
I am wondering what you guys do to make your O-Line feel special and important. I have an O-Line this year that fundamentally can do it and will be strong enough to do it but lacks the confidence to get it done consistantly because everyone they go against will be much bigger. We are a spread team with a base zone run game so we are not 3 yards and a cloud of dust.
Any motivation you do for O-Line only or any advice on how to make the best of the smallest O-line probably in the state but still get results.
We are talented enough to win 6 or 7 games and I dont want the O-Line to be the reason we get held back.
Any advice or tips would be appreciated.

Outline to them, in very specific detail, what their job is. Explain to them that pancaking 270 3 techs might not be their job. Show them that they have the tools to do the job, and that in the zone scheme, footwork, vision, and timing are more important than girth. Show them how the zone scheme relies on the defender making an error, rather than the OL making a hole

Honestly coach, as a former 170 lineman I would say the zone scheme in itself may be creating some anxiety. I was pretty good (unanimous all-conference), but I lost a lot of confidence when we ran zone because I didn't understand how I could possibly win against a bigger guy. Any other run that I could fire out on was fine, but zone did not make me confident.
As the previous coach said, if you are set on running zone then sell them on the fact that the defense takes themselves out of position AND MOST IMPORTANTLY don't ever let a running back yell at them because he pushed the hole incorrectly or mad ethe wrong read.
Good luck
