Guys, What is the best brand of wrist coaches to buy for youth players (8-10 yrs old)? And where is the best place to order them from? We're only going to have 16 plays, so will only need the single window variety.
thanks!

We have used all different bands of wrist coaches. I believe that they are basically all the same. I bought mine on ebay last season. Check them out.

So Simple, NO NEED FOR A TEMPLATE:
In Word using 8 font, in bold .......Red.................................Black 0- 16 Power......................0- 22 Wedge 1- Spinner 26 Power.........1- 31 Trap 2- Mouse 32 Wedge .........2- Spinner 43 Reverse
Underline everything' Black Column is in black, red column is in red Laminate so they dont get torn up/sweated through Keep the bands with you Wash them weekly in cold water and aire dry them
20 Plays total, 10 per row Been doing it for last 8 seasons with youth players aged 6-14

Well coach I thought the same thing last season. We put the jet in because we had 1 kid who could run. HOWEVER he did not end up being our best Jet back, if fact he didnt run it well at all. Our speedster didnt trust the handoff so he wouldnt accelerate as fast as he needed to into the handoff mesh, A very average kid however id truct the handoff and did what we told him to do and he did real well with it. Jet: video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-6522895402078458479&q=jet+sweep&ei=tzVhSNamBYvA4AKQs6jVAg&hl=enWe didnt run it as a big hitter play, it was our set up play. We just wanted our 5-7 yards from the jet sweep and we go it. We hit big with the powers, counters, traps, wedges under the jet on the remaining 7-8 defenders. The jet motion allowed our average kid to get the corner (barely) A lot of this stuff we learn by accident.

And just give the kids some fake ones for the first half and put them on REAL loose so they fall off. Have everyone switch out at halftime to the real ones.

The template used to be on Hugh Wyatts site Kids sweat, ink runs, they disintegrate. Rainy games the paper disintegrates. Learned that one the hard way on Labor Day weekend game in 95 degree heat. Then you have to pull off the kids arm hair with the tape, which you end up retaping every week and redoing the paper every week. In the long run the wrist coaches work much better and I have some we are still using that are 6 years old. Week 1 you do the inserts and nothing else to do until the season ends than washing the wrsit bands each week in cold water.

I've used both Neumann (Adams) and Under Armour in the past. Both work well although I prefer the Under Armour brand slightly as it appears to hold up a little better.
Our template uses alternating light gray and pale yellow bands to make reading them easier. I first used this layout with older kids (HS) while coaching 7-on-7 and later adapted it to my youth team.

It also depends on how many plays you want available on gameday. Last season I used one with a velcro flip panel so I could have 30 plays available, 10 per panel.

I actually got flagged last season for my entire defense wearing bands. I still don't understand why.

I don't remember the exact call, but it was along the lines of an equipment violation.
