Last night on the NFL network there was a short segment on the Air 7 QB university (I assume it is in CA).
The person running it was a QB for San Jose St. His clients are the sons of Wayne Gretzky, Joe Montana, Snoop Dog, Clausen (the ND QB), and Leinart to name a few. They stated his QBs are the "Gold Standard" to the college ranks.
So I am watching some of the drills and what his teaching them. It was interesting to see how what he teaches compared to Slack. It also got me thinking about how Slack is very well know in the coaches ranks but outside of it he is not. I wondered if this was a East coast/West coast type of thing due to Slack's location and as far as being the guy you take your QB's too.
Did anyone else see the segment?

Steve Clarkson, former QB at San Jose State, is well known in CA as a QB guru. I haven't seen him or DS work. I'm sure both of them are awesome.
Roger Theder is another guy who spits out great QBs.

That is one reason I wondered if it is more of a region type thing. I am sure he is good and well known. I know in the south and east coast areas Slack is the prefered QB coach. They both are just different in their approach. All the clients they were talking about live in CA.
