Dave, Here is a little video of our Super Bowl team this season, using a mix of Bash offense and the Sainted Six single wing. We beat a team that beat us 14-12 the second game of the year to win it all. Most of these kids had never played before, especially the kid who pulls on the first play and just pancakes the way for our RB to score. Thanks for the help.

Nice off-tackle play to start the game. ;D Did you run any full or 1/2 spin stuff, trap or wedge?

We ran trap and wedge that set up those plays. I found much more success running that off tackle play to the left and right than I ever did on the sweeps. I also loved 43 reverse. Man, we had some big 3rd down conversions with that over the year.

Nice vid "ampipebulldog"! Looks like one of Dave's "Screaming Eagles" teams, but with different uniforms, lol. I love watching the Off Tackle, Wedge, Traps, etc. out of this Single Wing formation.

Thanks. I wanted to run the Spins, and some of the other stuff, but I read and took to heart, "DO NOT IMPLEMENT ANYTHING ELSE UNTIL YOU HAVE MASTERED THE SAINTED SIX".
I ran those six plays until they could do them in their sleep. In our league, practice was only twice a week, which really hampered me, but by the time we made the playoffs as the last seed, our team was really coming into our own on those six plays. I implemented 6 very simple plays from BASH offense, just to confuse the other team during our playoff run, and would throw a BASH play once every 4-5 - run a QB sneak out of it, or an end around. What really helped us, in week 4, I mirrored the SW to the left side, and so doubling my SW play list. It is a really great system Dave has.
One short story. We had a scrimmage during our weigh ins for all teams before the first week of the season. I was the new coach in the league, and all the other bubba's knew each other. I started running my sainted six in the scrimmage, and I heard the other coaches saying our backs looked like "little froggies" in their stances. We lost our 2nd and 3rd game, and the other teams were really making fun of the unorthodox stances. It started to click, and we ran off the next 8 games with victories, including the championship. The parents were behind me because I told them what my plan was, and I did not deviate from it. We were voted Coaches of the Year by our peers, and a little bird told me to expect 2-3 SW teams to "show up" this next 08 season.
I have my entire OL back, so I might just Wedge everyone to death.
