On the shirt what does it say below the get-2-0. Also any chance you sell those to Coach Huey members?

yeah I got a reply from them and they said they could only give me information over the phone. That kind of raised the red flag with me.

Isn't that one of the main reasons Nebraska went away from the triple option.

I wonder if this hurts spread teams in recruiting. Due to the fact teams can say they are not getting the pro training in the spread.

One of my main focuses this off-season is trying to get it so that my quarterbacks will develop more of a leadership personality. I was wondering how do you get your players and especially your QB’s to take on the that leadership role?

I agree run an O that you are comfortable with. Personally I would run the West Coast Offense, due to the fact I think you have the personal for this and it is the offense I feel the most comfortable with. This O can use all of your players skills. The offense obviously throws a lot so you are using your QB’s plus they are mainly short passes so easier passes to catch. Plus you can line one of your backs at FB (the hard nosed kid) and one at RB. Plus this O used both of these kids in the passing game a lot, also this O usually works best with small athletic lineman.

Hey I was wondering if you ever heard of this pitching coach Tom House or his organization the National Pitching Association www.nationalpitching.net/default.asp?. If so does he know his stuff, and can his pitching info especially on training the arm be easily translated to QB's.

I am making my off-season manual for quarterbacks and I was hoping I could get a few recommendations on a couple of things. 1. Camps to go to. Also Slack if you read this do you plan on having a camp in Arizona or southern California this year? 2. Books or videos that would help a high school quarterback. 3. What other things you include for your quarterbacks to do during the off-season

I was wondering what the rules are for throwing the ball away are in your state. I always thought it was ok for the QB to throw the ball away if he was outside of the pocket and threw it past the line of scrimmage. Yet we had this penalty thrown on us when we did this last night. If your state does not allow your QB to throw the ball away what do you tell your QB so that he does not take a sack and also so he does not force the ball into coverage. Do you tell him still to just get rid of the ball and hope they don’t call and if they do oh well because that would have been the result with the sack, or do you say something else?

I have a buddy that has decided he does not want to return to the staff that he currently works on. We were talking last night about when he should let the head coach know. I was wondering what you guys think of when the best time is. He thinks it is best to wait until the end of the year, and I kind of think it is best to let the HC know as soon as you have made the choice. So my question is when do you let the HC know.

My profile is my coaching profile on the team website. He sent it to a bunch of different people me not included and a mutual friend of ours showed it to me in his e-mail since he was one of the people who got it. The head coach did address it well, but when I put this post about it I was in disbelief and just wanted to know what other people would do in the situation. Plus I posted this before the head coach addressed it.

One of the other assistant coaches sent out an e-mail on my profile which said
This is _____ first year of coaching at ______, and second year of teaching at ___________. John served as a student assistant at college from 2000-02. During his time at IC the team won one conference championship. From 02-06 _________ was a student assistant at the University of __________. During this time U won 2 conference championships and played for one national championship. He also had an internship with the Miami Dolphins in 2006. In 2007 he was assistant quarterback coach at IC, and helped the Tritons win another conference championship.
He sent this e-mail
______ is a first year coach who does not know what the hell he is doing. His was give the name “MF” because he was a bad ass guiding the jock straps into the washing machine and dryer following the ______ and ________ practices from 2000-07. He is an expertise at the quarterback position, or at least that is what the last book told him and I think that was an audio book. Following his stint with ____ and ______ he accepted an internship as part of the _______ staff, where instead of washing the jock straps he moved up to powdering them so those big guys would not get a jock itch. _____ “MF” _____ then moved to _____ where he teaches at LePera and was moved from his teaching position, where he was so damn good, to a full-time aid for _______ (statment is not true I am not an aid have my own class). _____ in his spare time also likes to work on his karate and judo to prepare for the UFC. He has taken on a few grueling opponents, such as _______, but has fallen short due to the amount of security surrounding the guy. ______ is prepared for any thing with a mike’s hard in one hand and his whistle in the other. He is ready to guide _____ to the promised land, the Vince Lombardi trophy.
What would you do in this situation.

I hate the 2 QB approach due to the fact it take the QB's out of any rhtyme they have. Plus I would be nervous to put in the good leader QB in at a crucial situation since he does not make good choices. .

#2. The defense goal is to make a team one dimensional, and if I have a team that can only do one thing then the defense is already a step ahead. I will take a West Coast team like the 80’s/90’s 49ers over the Steelers or 00’s Rams any day.

Just coach the backup and hope he is ready for next weeks game. Also make sure you show you cofident with the backup QB, when the team is around you. If you have cofidince in the backup so will the team.
