Do players really spend $25-$30 on a mouth guard when they get one free from the school? Have to wonder about a kid who does that. Besides the aesthetics there are a lot of people who think that something that costs more HAS to be better. |

I don’t think posting on Twitter is the best way to go about it. But a coach has to not allow things that bother him or else it will fester; even if it seems like a silly thing. If not having “drippy” mouthpieces is something you value then you better communicate it and follow it or else if you ignore it, your true self will come out at the worst time and everyone will look at you like you lost your mind…..
this is true for all things in being a head coach whether it be scheme, uniform, locker room, team rules, culture, fundraisers, etc. Be who you are and follow your philosophies. Wavering from your true self isnt good for you or your team.
