Things Head Coaches Have Done to Make Season/Job Miserable

I've worked for two pretty bad HCs and they both shared a lot of the same characteristics. Both were "grinders" who put in ridiculous amounts of time to really accomplish very little. Both weren't exactly rocket scientists either.
I think the angriest I've ever been as an asst coach was we used to have JV practices on Saturday morning starting at like 8am. I used to live an hourish away from this job and sometimes wouldn't get home after Friday games until 1 or 2am. The practices were not my idea (I was JV HC), but the HC's. One day our starting TB and KOR guy decides he wants to be an ass and literally walk through everything. We were running a timing based KOR and it was completely screwing up the play. Told him to at least jog for us and got a whole lot of lip. Long story short, I end up kicking him out of practice and go in to tell the HC. His solution? He starts the kid Friday night at TB. I have no idea why. I only stayed there a year and was looking for another job by Week 2.
