We have done them before, but I am looking for any additional ideas coaches have done for a one day youth clinic, grades 1-6.
Thanks

We do the 4 Mondays in June, from itty bitty to MS age, split them up into 2 groups.
Itty bitties 'learn' dynamic warm up, run through an 'obstacle course', run/throw/catch footballs, knock over tackle dummies, etc...
Older half do dynamic warm up, then some football type stuff, 2 days is offensive stuff, 2 of the days is defensive type stuff.
None of it is really to teach football. It mainly is community out reach, a couple of hours of baby sitting, and generate interest in football and the program.
If they learn some football, then great. Coaches are there, but the players are expected to be involved and run the drills/stations/groups.

We go from 8:30am to 10:30am 30 minute blocks with 5 minute breaks for water. Our HS kids run the drills and have goals-1. Have FUN. 2. Teach them how to tackle. 3. pursuit- make them run. 4. block- Everything on pads: We had 140 participants grades K-6 and 30 HS kids worked. HS kids get paid in all you can eat meals right after the camp- BBQ/Pizza/Chicken.
