We normally have weights and field work from 7:30-9:30 MTWTH, but this week we won't go Monday or Tuesday morning. We have a 7 on 7 scheduled for Tuesday night but I could see it being canceled as it's supposed to be 102 degrees that day.

&am Monday on July 4th? That is hard core Grnd szn don't stop!! Has nothing to with "grnd szn" We have always done speed and strength on July 4th unless it falls on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday. They are done by 9am not sure what the big deal is. |

Only holiday we ever did anything Football-related on was Labor Day because that was a game week. Very fortunate to be practicing on Thanksgiving the last two years. But that is more of an honor and what every team strives for in Alabama. |

But that is more of an honor and what every team strives for in Alabama. Did that once as an assistant, got close couple times as header. Knocked out by eventual state champs each time. So at least we knew what they looked like. |

Our state moved the championship to the weekend before Thanksgiving, which sucks. Practicing on Thanksgiving used to mean you were in the final 4 so it was a really cool experience for a team to be out there Thanksgiving morning.
