So far I know of one D.3 (Centennial), 2 D.2 (PSAC, CIAA), and 3 1AA (Ivy, MEAC, CAA) conferences that have postponed football. The bigs are trying to hang in because of TV money but it looks like it's just a matter of time.

Patriot League (FCS/I-AA) also will not have fall sports including football this year.

I thought politics were verboten here?

Article was not about politics. It was about consequences resulting from failure of leadership in federal government.
Pat Forde is a college sports commentator, not political one.

It seemed pretty political.
I don’t think there was any way of practicality stopping the spreading of this virus to areas not yet hit and wasn’t the purpose of the lockdowns.
The lock downs worked and we flattened the curve and to buy time. It’s not unexpected that areas that don’t yet have herd immunity benefits will see it spread, especially among young people who are done with putting their lives on hold.
Hopefully the southern and western states will hit their peaks soon and decline in active cases like the northern states that got slammed early.

Texas looks to have peaked on hospitalizations so that’s promising since there’s a 7 day lag on deaths from hospitalizations.

You can't be serious? "If the season dies, we know who had the biggest hand in killing any chance of it happening: Donald Trump." Ya, and CNN just straight reports the news right?

Was it political when Canadian government told Blue Jays they couldn't play in Toronto because of pandemic?

In no way is that writing a piece blaming ONE person essentially for the pandemic. That's what Forde did.
You're comparing apples to Datsuns.

He is saying the most powerful man in the world should be held responsible for our ineffectual response to it that may cause the loss of 2020 CFB season.

I suppose Trump is to blame for the Toronto Blue Jays too?

And no, he's not blaming Trump at all (eye roll emoji)
"Slow to respond, quick to downplay the risk, unwilling to create a national strategy, quite willing to attack governors who took the pandemic seriously, pushing for premature openings of states, flaunting a no-mask stance for months and turning that into a belligerent political statement, Trump and his ideologues are now marinating in a midsummer mess of their own creation. What an epic failure of leadership, one that will deprive Trump of his cherished autumn fealty festivals at a packed football stadium."
