Saw this post on Twitter brought it here: Coaches: what's your program's tag line? A great tag line should be short (2-6 words) and easily remembered. Ones I have used..... #BarkTogether #ClampDown #RebuildTheCity At my Old School #BringTheHammer
Also waiting for the 2 or 3 of you... To tell us that it ain't never won a game so I don't have any....Blah...Blah..Blah

We have used "Win The Day" for the past four years. It's on everything and we talk about it constantly. Getting 1% better in the weight room, classroom, practice, etc. Waking up and finding that thing we will focus on and get better at and get a daily win.

hashtag- "Just wait till next year" In all seriousness, I always thought WIN- What's Important Now -- is a good one that focuses on process

All In--for largely the same reasons 60zgo posted. Be All In with everything you do. First year head coach for us this fall, so I honestly don't know if that's more a season motto or program motto. I guess we'll find out when team gear comes in next summer!

Outside of work related boards (aka this thing) I'm not on social media so I am a bit lost here; is this basically the slogan for the season that we used to put on spirit packs? You know "Play Like a Champion" or "Brothers In Arms"? Or is this something different?
I mean I get it goes on your twitter page (not on a shirt), but the premise is still the same, right?

#EMO2EQ Our players come from towns from East Moriches to East Quogue (Seven towns in all) but go to Westhampton Beach HS. We have it on our helmets. It helps unify all the towns in between that go to our school.

My OL mantra this year was "Prove It!" we did a good job of proving it at times, poor job at others.
Next year will be: Character Over Talent.

Ours is "DO WORK". One of our assistants who was 28 years old passed away in Dec of 2014 and he would always yell DO WORK so the kids adopted it. This year when I took the program over I had a mural of it made up and a kid came up with the definition of DO WORK in a scholarship essay he wrote and we used that. Pound the Rock
There is a huge mountain in our way and we want guys that will bring their hammer and pound the rock everyday until we turn it into our own gravel pathway.
Also because we want to become a team that can run the ball down your throat and pound your guy that has the ball.

We had a group who less than enthusiastic about attending offseason weights. I suggested the slogan for the year should be “Striving for Mediocrity”

We had a group who less than enthusiastic about attending offseason weights. I suggested the slogan for the year should be “Striving for Mediocrity” We had a group a few years back that would pout anytime anything went wrong. It was only a group of 4 or 5 on the team but whenever one of them would drop a ball or miss a block or a coach got onto them as soon as they got to the sideline they would immediately go on a manhunt to find another so I called them the Misery Loved Company Crew. They weren’t all around bad kids just whiners. And when something went bad for any of them that guy would try to get in the knitting circle to be consoled as quickly as possible. Your striving for mediocrity tag made me think of them.

If you ask our boys it's "FU¢£ TRI CITY" as they are our rivals or "It ain't talking chit if it's the truth".
The real one is Warrior Proud. Warrior Strong.
My alma mater, The Pirates, this year used "Fly the Black Flag" and "Hoist the Colors".

I'm not that big on yearly themes. "Win The Day" is one we have used for years. But, last year we lost a regional playoff game on a missed PAT so this year's motto was "Leave No Doubt". As in not letting it come down to one chance play, imposing our will on opponents, etc. Leaving no doubt in anything that you do. The guys really bought into it.
