I was just at the first Glazier clinic in Atlanta and had a great time and learned a lot. I'll also be driving up to the second one in February just for Saturday.

If we go to Glaziuer, it would be in Tidewater, Va. We much prefer COOL Clinics in Cincy!

They should create a "Huey Social" at these clinics. Would be cool to connect with some of you great coaches on here! I gotta give props to fasterthanthefly for spreading the Huey gospel when I sat in on his clinic sessions a few years ago. He's a proud Hueyite and is always trying to get more coaches to visit the site, join and contribute. Sidenote: Is it weird that "Hueyite" passed through autocorrect?

I usually get on the general board and ask who's attending the clinic I am and put together a get-tegether. A group of us always meet up at the AFCA... canyoncoach DCOHIO pvogel and a bunch of others. fasterthanthefly will be speaking at our clinic in March and we all spread the Huey gospel... Coach Huey will be there too!!!

In just 4 more mornings I’ll be waking up to meet the guys to road trip to Detroit! Solid speaker lineup IMO.

Just got back from Las Vegas. Good stuff, lots of Flexbone triple for us that was really beneficial. I will attend the "San Fransico" (actually in Concord) on Friday this weekend. trying to get to a couple of colleges this spring, Cal Poly has a coaching camp. Other than that I will be done with clinics after this Friday.

Just got back from Dallas and this was quite possibly the best Glazier clinic I've been to in the 10 years I've been attending. The topic and speaker selection had great variation of all the aspects it takes to run a great program. Don Clayton and Steve Channell did great jobs on staff dynamics and development. Brandon Houston, Tyler Soukup, Bill Blankenship and Jeff Hulme did a great job in explaining how and why they run what they run offensively. Ty Gower, Elliot Allen and Jeff Koonz also did a great job teaching their defensive fundamentals and schemes. Only thing I did not come out of it with was more special team drill ideas to improve our special teams, just some scheme ideas. Overall great experience and worth driving over 6 hours to attend.

Twin Cities Glazier- meh...
HS coaches were good (Jones MO. and Zandagriff GA) College coaches were not very excited to be there with the exception of Holiday. And McNally was as on point as ever. After that very tough to sit through.
Great time after sessions meeting coaches from DII and NAIA schools as well as crashing a few coaching socials.

Agree, it wasn't the best clinic I've been to, however, there were some gems. Coach Holliday from Utah was very good, especially with WR fundamentals and route running. I was impressed with Coach Hofher from Iowa St. I was setting myself up to be disappointed when he started by rambling about his players for about 15 minutes, but once he got to the film he did a GREAT job of explaining the why and how of their RPOs and Pass concepts. He ran over every session and answered many questions. Coach Salem from Pitt was about as energetic as any presenter I've seen. Good specials teams talks. Adam Bradley and Justin Anderson gave some good material on leadership and team chemistry. The rest of what I saw...meh

This time next night I’ll be wrapping up day 1 of the Detroit Glazier finding a good meal & cold drink. Look forward to seeing Rob Keys or Rick Darlington present. On Saturday I’ll definitely check out Don Brown & probably Vandagriff.
Be great to meet up with any of you guys if you are there! I’ll be in the Green & Gold Coloma Football gear day 1 & rockin’ the Coach Huey Longsleeve T day 2.
