Coaches I'm launching a product this summer to the football world we have already received a lot support in testing from alot NFL,College and Highschool coaches.
I'm Kenyatta Wright former NFL Linebacker it's my passion to safely enhance the game of football by properly training tackling without the risk of injuring teammates.
The kids watch NFL biggest hits and games and see the super stars launching and using forearms and head shots ,so they emulate that. “We are trying to get rid of that mindset, and so is the NFL. Proper tackling techniques and practice will help athletes be healthier and safer playing the game we all love.”
All of the former NFL players we talked to agreed that teaching kids to tackle properly at a young age is crucial to their development as football players. Specifically, I see younger players tackling with their heads. It’s scary , and I don’t like to see that going on. I think that there’s plenty we can do on our end as Coaches and Parents to teach them the safer, and more effective ways to tackle and also practice . It will make careers a lot longer.
So what is SafeTackle
* Teaches players to adjust their angle of pursuit and vision.
* Teaches open field tackling and reducing injuries without the use of other players.
* Teaches players to wrap up in open field and finish the tackle
* Enhances Football teams ability practice talking with risking another athlete injury.
DESIGNED SPECIFICALLY TO EMULATE THE SIZE, MOVEMENT, RESISTANCE, AND CONTOURS OF AN OPPOSING PLAYER. ALLOWING FOR THE ABILITY TO SAFELY TACKLE AT FULL SPEED, EXERTING MAXIMUM FORCE AND INTENSITY. GREATLY REDUCING THE RISK OF HEAD OR BODILY INJURY INVOLVED IN PLAYER-ON-PLAYER CONTACT DRILLS.
We have 2 patent filings.
The 1st is the general foam ring with inner cutout, filed as a device for football tackle training.
