I thought MIchigan was gonna run that last play in for a TD. Callahan should give the game ball to those two guys who stayed with the play.

I have to agree with you fish. Some really good football so far. (Rutgers was a surprise) I turned off the Michigan game Half way through the 4th. Got up this morning turned on the news before going to work and couldnt believe what I missed.

i almost did the same thing, mugz. i went to my computer to see what's going on here thinking the game was over. then i come back and nebraska scored to get within 3. luckily i have dvr, so i rewound and got to the see what i missed. i think God invented dvr. its the best thing ever.

we will see. i'm not a trash talker, so i won't be making any predictions. after last night i won't be watching sportscenter until after the bowl games. they promote that they're talking about vince young, and then spend all their time with usc. i haven't heard, but i wonder if mack closed practices?

Living in Austin, I hope UT loses. These people here never shut up about it.

Those Alamo Bowl refs were interesting I must say. The the "Blue Turf Bowl" was fun to watch too. I kept waiting for BSU to turn on the juice. Too little to late I guess.

I expect you to be talking the trash.

they should have brought him in earlier in the second half. dixon wasn't moving the ball well at all.

No such thing as ugly as long as your team has a higher number on their end of the scoreboard when it's over.

i'm a believer in the saying, "good teams win ugly".....
meaning, (to me) that good teams will manage to find a way to win the game, despite what has transpired.

even though it was a blow out, I can't say it was a 'bad' game..other than poor fundamentals on Miami's part.
Hey, I think LSU's 2007 recruiting efforts got started in the 3rd qtr last night....(lol)

Interesting that there haven't been any 'terrible' games yet.
To see many games 'get out of hand' early only to make it close in the end. I thought for sure Va Tech was a gonner yesterday, but their defense pulled it out. I've always been a fan of Bud Foster's defense, but seeing them knock the stuffing out of the QB yesterday was nice (very tough kid, though!!).
Even Georgia made it a 'game' after getting pounded by West Virginia....
Interesting BOWL season this year.

That Sugar Bowl became a very good game. Credit WV because every time Georgia made it close they came up with a big score.
I was impressed with Wisconsin and how well they played too.
