Here is the question I pose to you coaches:
What offense is best suited to to a team that has a young offensive line, very expereinced but moderate speed WRs, and lack of quality RBs?

MOVE THE WRS TO WINGS AND TIGHTEN UP AND SMASHMOUTH WITH DA DUBBAWANG...you asked...those inexperienced linemen would do well with all the double teams and down blocking...

I agree with Tog, What do you know? Stay with your system. Systems can be modified to fit your needs, but stay with your core beliefs.

well you know waht i am going to say, line up 5 wr, qb in shotgun and play pitch and catch. I agree with this! Best single thing I have ever done with a young, small, OL. 350 Attempts, threw uncovered and bubble mostly, gave up 9 sacks on the year.

Run the fly sweep; good receiver’s will give you an additional RB threat; use them to run off the edge, since your RB's are not that strong. By using the WR in the running game it takes pressure away form your RB'S; letting them contribute what they can, since they're not your dominating type backs. The defense will always have to honor the Fly Sweep; forcing them to play assignment football or what I like to call,”playing on your heels.” As for the linemen, the blocking concepts are easy, if you run it like Willamette; there linemen zone block and are taught to step, rip ,run, close across the face of the defender; if anyone attempts to cross your track, "Blow him up." It's also good b/c you can spread the "D" out; give multiple WR looks and still be able to incorporate the sweep with the WR (aka fly back). It probably is best to get Speckmens DVD. Here's a base play off the Pro/split back set we ran in 2004. It really forces the defense to play assignment football, you can run keep, give to the dive back, or run the fly sweep and lead with the FB.

Regardless of offensive style, you need to keep it very simple for the linemen and not something that asks them to sustain one-on-one blocks.
In the passing game I'd utilize screens and three-step drops the majority of the time. Anything longer, I'd keep either both backs or a back and TE in to block to help the pups out.
In the running game, utilize either power (block down/kickout) plays where OL can double and combo off to LB or use quick pitch or quick toss so that OL aren't asked to sustain block for very long.
Any offensive style can be used.

I agree with bigdaddyd that jet sweep would be good. Quick edge play which is simple and doesn't ask for sustained blocks.

Stay within the system you know, and tweak things for talent. Are they big? Just keep you blocking assignments simple. Don't do alot just do it really really well.

my background is a Washington State or Oregon style spread offense. My concern is that we arent hug, definately not the fastests, and the chemistry of a young team is not there.

God almighty, you can ask this question and get 100 different answers every time. All anyone is ever going to tell you is what works for THEM. You have to run what works for YOU. It's just that simple coach.
I could post out here and say, "what should I run if I have 5 300 lb linemen, a nasty 220 lb FB and the state's best HB...but I have no WR's" and I swear there would be people who would tell me to go with a spread offense. Conversely I could say, "I have no backs and a smaller quicker line, but I have tons of WR's and a phenom QB" and STILL someone would say "run the straight T."
If you are lacking in skill, size, or talent, always take what you know and believe in the most and refine the complexity of it accordingly.

Loch-- you mean you don't have those kind of players?
Seriously Loch is right. Run what you know and believe in b/c in the end that is what you will go back to anyway. If you believe in running the ball get the OL to come off the ball low and quick and teach'm how to hold. Keep it simple and allow for them to master it then move on. Throw a few play actions off your best runs.
How good is your defense? You may not want to spread it and throw it? You may want to chew up a ton of time running the football and controlling the clock.

I am an option guy at heart so that is always my first choice. But a close second would be the straight T. There is a guy around here that ave about 50 a week with that damn offense.
