During last night's orange bowl, the kicker from FSU missed three fgs and a pat. ABC tried to get his face on camera after he missed the final kick and several of the FSU players tried to block the camera from getting to the kicker. Instead of just leaving it be and respecting the players' wishes, ABC moved another camera into position so they could plaster the kid's face on the screen. I think that is just plain stupid.

Completely agree. Its tough enough to try and get your confidence back when you miss an XP, but when they are sticking cameras in your mug trying to see you cry, it sure dooesn't help. Bravo to the Florida State Crew for trying to protect their Teammate! ABC who usually shows some moderate amount of class of all the networks, should be ashamed of themselves. They were acting like FOX out there.

I was thinking the same thing last night. It was kind of tough to watch him sit there, and ABC had no right to put the camera on him. The thought that they had to actually move a camera to get a shot of him is disgusting. Between that and Brent Musberger talking about everything other than football during the Fiesta Bowl, ABC is getting on my nerves.

How many times will we hear "the Rose Bowl presented by citi" tonight during the game? Really I do not mind that one so much b/c they keep the citi logo small. But the Fiesta Bowl? I mean you can barely see "FIESTA" in there b/c Tostitos takes up so much room!

Not to mention that most games are about 4 and 1/2 hours long these days. All for the almighty dollar.

I dunno, coaches.....I mean, I got a lot of great insightful material while watching the Fiesta Bowl. I came up with this play while watching OSU trump Notre Dame.... did they overdo that or what?

I had a good mind to fly up to Tempe and personally smack Brent Musberger in the gonads for talking about that crap so much.
That was almost as annoying as hearing Tim Brando say "MEEEEchigan".

You can never show too little of Quinn's sister!

As for the camera deal it is not new. I just watch the replay of the 87 Miami vs Penn St Feista Bowl and and the end they had the camera on one of the OL crying from Miami. The guy got up shoved the camera way and told the guy to get the hell out of his face. ABC is all about the "agony of defeat".
