It is just a different way of thinking that the main stream thinkers refuse to adapt to. It is to bad our educational system is set up to create docile individuals who challenge nothing.

Commitment Optimism Motivation Pride Effort Toughness Excel
I don't know. Just get together qualities for each letter.
We use Personal Responsibility In Developing Excellence. We also use a small chant to describe the INs and OUTs of our defense:
In Tense In Control In Motion Out Work Out Smart Out Play

Be wary of making acronyms too long, especially if the letters represent single words instead of a sentence in total.
Become hard for kids to remember, and thus meaningless.
Slogans are better if they come AFTER success and from the kids themselves.

We've had plenty of acronyms throughout the years.
B.A.S.H. - Brutal;Aggressive;Savage;Hits
G.A.T.A.-Get;After;Their;Ass
Bash and Gata were two that were commonly used. But then we realized that about half the kids actually knew what they ment or stood for. They didnt have any ownership to them.
So what we are trying this year, is asking each kid Sophomores through Seniors, what they want the defense to be known as. It could be anything.
So we are just getting the last couple ideas in and we will try to find the common links between them all or make an acronym of the most popular type ideas. This gives the kids ownership because they helped create it.
If this works out we will do it every year and have plans on making some photoshopped poster of the saying/imagery.

I'm trying to come up with a powerful acronym that has meaning. The acronym is DNA. I was initially thinking of Dominant Not Average. But wanted to see more options. Maybe with the word destined. Could you guys help me out figuring out different options. And or maybe just a three letter abbreviation with destined. Anything will help π

So my daughter is graduating college next May. She just got back home last night after finals and we're sitting at the kitchen table talking about school and where she will be going after she graduates. We're talking about her senior pictures, they get to do a saying thing for the yearbook. She said that she had a quote and added 'RTFTO'. Since they had to explain all the acronyms she told them it meant:
Remember The Fun Times Often
Which fits in with what the school/society wants to hear. But, she said that it was actually from her HS volleyball days and that it was used to describe what they were going to do to their opponent - it actually meant they were going to:
Rip Their F***ing T****es Off
That's my girl, I knew I raised you right.
