I know there are a lot of spread guys on here and a lot of spread guys that get on the whiteboard in the chatroom and kind of hog it up sometimes (me included ) What do you guys think about making Wednesday night the Wing night? We have some big time wing t and doublewing guys on here that could really school us on it and also gives us some tips to stop the stuff. Another note about the chatroom. It is kind of hard to have a defensive oriented talk in there, as the defense has to line up to the formation that other people are putting up. So, you defensive guys, feel free to chime in and show us how things we offensive guys come up with will be stopped. Let's see if there are any counters to that, or any ideas within plays that make sense. The back and forth about these sorts of things is great. It lets you see if the ideas you are talking about are sound. Lets you see if you missed anything.

That sounds good,Tog... Since we face more teams that run the Wing. I would perfer to see more topics on how to defend it...

I thought we already established the internet is broadband...how we gonna shove wings through a phone line? LOL
But seriously...it is good idea. I like the DW & wing-t work. No doubt it is a good offense that wins alot of games and puts up a lot of points.

I like looking at wing t stuff to see other ways for misdirection based off of some of the things we are running

I'd like to see a "menu" of sorts for weekly discussion. Every night have a certain system/topic. Maybe once a week or more have a "wildcard" type discussion that can change week to week.

Wednesday night is the night all of the college kids around here go downtown for wings and to get drunk. So, I laughed when I saw that. I like the idea of having something different every night.

wednesday night will be devoted more to wing-t, double wing, wingbone, etc. type discussion. be it offensive schemes are ways to defend these sets.
starting in february, thursday nights will be our special "online clinics". the generic start time for these will be 8:30 pm cst but may change each week. we will alternate between offense & defense presentations. you can go to the calendar to see the topics for every thursday night.
feb. 2 will be the offense presentation on pass protection schemes.

It is a third of the game... i will mix in special teams talks as well. good idea bigdaddy although i think special teams is important (all plays will involve a change in field position of over 30 yards) i don't say it is a "third of the game". we run 55-60 offense plays a game. play defense for around the same. we dont spend 50 plays in a special teams situation.

I was looking at putting the full version board up on our site, we currently have the demo that allows 5, but for 10.00 a month we can do 15 people. I was wondering if this was the board for 15 or 50, the one for 5 is kind of small and cheesy, this one is more functional

we can have up to 50 users in the chat room at one time. the "record" for users that I have been a part of has been 18 people. Hoping to fill it up every thursday night now that we are having weekly clinics in there.

Just wondering if anyone is regularly on the board or willing to give clinics mid to late afternoon, say around 2-4pm Eastern? I'm in the UK so with the time difference I'm generally up till 2-3am waiting for the good discussions to come up!
Thanks

Good stuff, people....I'll be there today....
Huey, is there a way to archive past clinics(?) just asking.....THAT in itself could become something bigger than needed (or mangeable) - but for future reference....we could be able to use a 'white board' and RECORD the session with LiveMeeting......then, naturally, you could charge $69 for rebroadcasting other coach's clinics......(lol)
