Varsity Gold Cards... Spaghetti Feed... Football dance...Spirit Packs... etc.
We do a Passing Tournament/ Linemen Challenge; I invite 16 HS from around the area charge $160 for each team, and $20 for each additional linemen team. Plus we sell food at the snack shack. We make a little scratch off of it.

We do a lift a thon, each kid gets people to sponsor them for their max on the bench press. they go to anyone they can and then they max out out one night. they then collect their sponsors. the beauty is that its all profit. We have averaged over 10K a year with it with about 60 kids lifting.

Our field hockey team did a fundraiser that they made a ton of money on. They sold flip flops with the school logo on them. They made a ton, its seems that everybody in the school has a pair.

fort,
3 core lifts (bench/cleans/Squats) players do there max lift, for each lb they lift, the sponsor donates the amount the agreed to pay.
Ex Sponsor pledges .05 cents per lb. Lifter lifts a combine total of 600 lbs Sponsor awes program $30
We do this every year. Make sure to write up a nice letter to explain why you are doing the Lit-A-Thon. we made about $4000.

With the flip flops you get what you order, I beleive they bought them for $8 but they charged $20 for them. They made a killing. They are great to wear after practice and to meetings.
Bigdad, of course, flip flops in NJ we do have the shore here and they are great for when your driving on the Turnpike waiting to get to your exit.

this is avery good fundraiser, I have been told that it is illegal, but do not know for sure.
Called Pick 3. Buy a ticket with 000-999 printed on it. that ticket is good for 30 days. every day that the number that you have on your ticket is the daily 3 state lottery number you get sent $50.00. sell the tickets for $10. Sell them all $10,000, pay out every day $1500. We used to sell about 400 tickets, one time paid out 12 times other times paid out less than 10 times for the month. I have heard of some schools in IL that do this and keep it going year around, at the end of the month a sec. calls and wants to know if you want the same number or not.
Last school I was at uses it all of the time, school I am at now says no.
I Believe that it is kinda of like how the mob used to run numbers...

Beg-a-thon is what we call it. Each player in the program brings in 10 names and address. We have a standard letter in which we ask for a min of $10 outlining what we need money for. We give out cash prizes to the top 3 players who bring in the most $$$. Each player writes a personal note on each of the letters to the people they send the letters to. We raised over $15K last year. best part is almost no work on our part, very easy.

we do the same thing, but we phrase it as a sponsor the player angle.

I heard a local HS had an alumni game. Cost $250 to play (rental, insurance, refs, dinner and drinks) and the program cleared $16k. Anyone try this?
