Not necessarily a turnover chain type of deal, but I've got this great idea that I'm going to run by our AD & HC. It's the facemelter (Is the facemelter still a thing or am I living in the past still?) of chains/awards... I call it the "Good Job" ribbon. It's far cheaper than making a trophy or a chain that a kid wears on the sideline. This prestigious ribbon goes to the player(s) that kinda just stands there and doesn't do anything special or phenomenal. We have to make sure we have 100 ribbons per game and wind up giving everyone at least 2 ribbons at the end of the game, but not too many...because that is what matters most, right? Participating = Winning Isn't this how life works? 🤔

All the teams in our district are in the top 10 every year. So we played 1 team twice already. Ince in the reg and once in the playoffs. And the team we play in the state championship we played in the reg season. Only loss

One of the things that i don't think i have seen posted yet is I look whether an offense likes to run to their bench. The wing t teams we play have coaches who dont wear headsets. They call it by themselves. So many times they want to SEE the play. Last 2 teams we played were like that.
