I believe Coach Huey has a partnership worked out with Glaziers. There was a thread explaining it a couple of years back.

Best of Nashville Glaziers was coach Tuke from SE MO. Great defensive talks and also a very good program building session. Worst was Greg Brown from Auburn, showed an hour of 1 vs 1 practice film.

The Head coach that I work for is 26 now and got the head job at 24. He has had the best two years in school history in his first two as head coach. First two playoff births ever.

We got Hudl assist this year and it has saved us hours upon hours on the weekends. You send it to them when you get it and they will have all the information entered in 24 hours or less. We trade on Thursday morning, I send it in immediately and it's back by Thursday afternoon. The package we have includes 30 games, and you can buy more if that isn't enough. I would definitely recommend it !

I loved the uncut behind the scenes look into a college football program. However I thought this documentary was a picture of everything that is wrong with football. I hope parents that are on the fence about their kids playing don't watch it!

We have many football players that play AAU basketball and Club Lacrosse. It is understood that a club sport is never going to come before a school sport. If they have a lacrosse game at 5:30, we will work with them and let them leave lifting a little early during the offseason, but they are never missing any football related activity in season to play a club sport. As far as other on campus sports, all of our coaches work pretty well together and the in season sport always is the top priority.

This past clinic circuit I was very impressed with Kyle Ralph and Chad Hetlett.. I like going to hear Art Craig too, not a great presenter, but love what he does on O and how he teaches it.

In Alabama Josh Nibblett of Hoover has had the most success lately. Up until this year he had played in 6 or 7 straight state championship games in the highest classification. Keith Eldridge who just left Leeds for Pell City has a great team year in and year out and has won 3 or 4 state titles. Mark Freeman now at Thompson has won everywhere he has been. Brent Hubbard at Maplesville has built a small school dynasty. I think Laron White at Tanner is as good as anyone. Paul Benefield at Fyffe High School is definitely the best Wing T coach in the state!

Coaches after calling around I have been told that 42" is the most popular for high school. The coach who posted the drill tape on here awhile back also used 42 and they seemed to be the perfect size in his video.

The main reason I took my new job at the beginning of this summer was a better teaching situation. The programs are at about the same level football wise. I am going from having 100 kids in my PE class to only having about 30. I also don't have any lesson plans or paper work to deal with, I am done teaching around 1:45 and get to head to the field. Will have all players by 2. It was about a 3,000 a year pay raise, but the better teaching environment was the main reason.

Honestly I think 90% of the women who teach high school are in it for the summers off or they can show everyone how smart they are. Yea...I said it. Some are in it for the kids but some don't give a chit about the kids, bad mouth the kids every chance they get, etc. I've been in the Principal's office more than once for telling them what I thought in crystal clear vocabulary and I don't care. Row the boat in the same direction or get the phuk out. Not a single coach in the world would keep a guy who was a lazy chitty coach and did nothing but b!tch about the kids non-stop. DC speaks nothing but truth lol

I got into teaching for one reason, to coach football. I teach PE and love it. I see the crap that the classroom teachers go through and there is no way I would be happy teaching if it were not for PE. I teach elementary PE all day, and drive 5 minutes to the high school for football, it's a pretty good gig. Another plus is that you can make money coaching football in my state. Several coaches make over 100K and don't have many teaching responsibilities. They coach football and do AD type stuff. Schools around Birmingham right now are competing to see who can pay their head football coach the most money. If you work your tail off in this state, you can get to a point where you are paid good money to just do football, that's what I am aiming for one of these days. That's what keeps me in education!
