we have one of these rockers. We used it this last season and it was pretty good. I want a little more volume though. So I had a dad take it and give it a look over. He was able to open it up and splice some speaker wire on it. So I have to other speakers that we hook up to it. Haven't had it out on the practice field yet, but in the weight room it puts out some serious sound now!!!

Most up to date and fresh information??? Your Linebacker section has 2 videos!?!?!?! And one of them is Linebacker play in the 3-5-3...Seriously? I haven't seen anybody run the 3-5-3 around...And the other is speed development, nothing to do with actually playing the position. The QB section has 4 videos...It's only the most important position on the field. I'm very frustrated with the switch to AFM and I imagine efootballflix had nothing to do with the switch, since coacheschoice is looking to do their own online streaming service. But, the AFM content is very lacking, very poorly produced, and the content is just isn't very informative. The selection is awful at best. Very disappointed! Coach, Thank you for the feedback. I've got our team digging into this now. The process of launching the Glazier Vault has been a VERY LARGE undertaking and while we caught most of the issues that affect functionality in the testing process, it is inevitable that some things fall through the cracks. Clearly we have content in those categories, something most be tagged incorrectly. I'll keep you posted as we get this issue updated. Thank you for getting back to all of us. It's good to know that you guys have more content and are going to share it. I appreciate your effort to continue to expand the availability of resources for us.

Did efootballflix get rid of the coach's choice content and replace it??? Hey Coach!! I work closely with the eFootballFlix property and wanted to give just a little information on the site and new content. There was a chance to get some new content from American Football Monthly and we wanted to provide our users with the most up to date, fresh information. We want to make sure that we constantly do the best for our coaches and felt that adding this new content would give our coaches a chance for some newer, up to date information in the world of football. I am happy to hear any and all feedback on the new content, and if there is a specific topic that you are searching for that previously was there on eFootballFlix with the Coaches Choice content and doesn't seem to be addressed with the new American Football Monthly content, let us know. We want to make sure that all of our coaches have access to the most relevant and up to date content, and if a topic isn't there we will do whatever we need to make that happen. Thanks Coaches!! Most up to date and fresh information??? Your Linebacker section has 2 videos!?!?!?! And one of them is Linebacker play in the 3-5-3...Seriously? Siege Sports has the Team USA football uniform contract. They are truly a custom design. When some say "customizable" they mean pick from a menu of several choices. Siege works with you to create something unique. siegesports.com/how-it-works/We have done some things with them. Here's a sleeveless compression they did for us. Do you remember the price on those coach?

you do what you think you got to do for your kids...i'm looking at doing some competitions during the spring and through the summer...if i get the results i want might even do them during the season...
some ideas...
bench press competition set the weight and see how can get the most reps farmers carry..carry a 45 for distance with a pinch grip towel hold...towel pull up and hold it for time keeping a 90 degree bend in the elbow towel wrestle or tire wrestle...2 guys wrestle a towel or tire from each other...there are many other variations... tire flips relays...the mile relay is about as tough as it comes...any time you get guys sprinting a 400 for a cause, toughness!
if you divide them into teams you can do all kinds of stuff...which is my grand plan
dodge ball monster basketball...all teams have 1 ball and are playing on 1 goal...when you score the person who made the basket is out...the goal is to get your whole team out...(coach plaa) tower of power...team picks their strongest guy and he is the base of the tower...the rest of his team climbs on...he holds the team for time...longest time wins we have wrestled in the past...both guys have to stay on their knees...gets pretty intense at times...
i just picked up a copy of 101 conditioning games and drills this past offseason...i have started thumbing through it to find more stuff...

So I've recently purchased Coaching to Change Lives. I've been wanting to implement character ed within our program. I was fortunate to listen to Coach Parker once and thats what led me to getting the book. I've seen some guys on here mention it and that they've used it. So you guys that have used this book, how did you implement it? What was your weekly structure like? Just looking for some ideas.

So I did a search on here and didn't find much, well, I didn't want to sift through a billion pages on topics not even related to player packs.
You guys that do player packs, what all do you have in them and what are you guys charging?

Do any of you guys divide your team up into teams for offseason competitions? What about a point system? Anything like this you guys would be willing to share?

the only reason knowing who 'owns' the facility matters, is so they can ok the naming rights. so it the school owns it and you can get it ok'd through the a.d. and supt. you're good. you just sell it for the year.
not only do they sell naming rights to the stadium they did it for the field too. They also had 'game sponsors.' if you get a chance to watch the video its all in there. good stuff. if you are at a large school theres tons of possibilities. i'm currently at a small school and i think a few of these are doable, but i also think there is a fine line too. where you could over do it and turn business off.
the video was 'Fundraising and Developing Positive Relationships with the Community' by Scott Jones
it was a coaches choice video. i watched it efootballflix.com we get access to it with our glazier season pass. which is awesome!

i watched a coaches choice video that a guy out in Georgia did on fundraising. The sold the naming rights to their field, stadium and anything else they could. I think it was for a couple grand. With the naming rights they gave stuff to the sponsor, couple tickets a game, ads in their program, website, etc. they had all kinds of stuff they did.

We have done this with Under Armour, and do really well with it. The players and their families alone buy a ton of stuff. We haven't opened it up to the general public ever. I'm going to run this idea by the HC. I recommend you do. We have great success offering our's to the public through their teams and boosters. You wouldn't believe how much some teams & communities will buy, and the online style is so much less work for you as a coach. And don't be afraid to offer Nike or Under Armour or whatever brand you prefer - when we offer our Flash Stores with both Nike and our Lids Private Label product (Gildan/Champro/A4 equivalent), the Nike product vastly outsells the cheaper options by a large margin, even though the name brands are much more expensive. People today don't want cheap, generic apparel - they want the good stuff. Don't be afraid to offer it to them. No upfront cost with us, either. If you're paying upfront for apparel sale, you're doing it wrong. I like the idea of this. Let me ask you this. Somebody on here said they could get 150 T's for $4. Sell them for $15. Making $11 a shirt. Is that comparable to what you would make per t-shirt with lids?

Nike uni's are not durable. We had them for 3 yrs and they ripped/tore constantly. We had Russell this year and had minimal issues with ripping/tearing. As someone who sells Nike unis, amongst most others, I don't hear this about Nike's unis. Not more than any other brand, at least. What style were you wearing? Had Riddell at the last school I was at. Unis are 3 years old and look 10 years old. Faded, screen printed numbers terribly worn, and the elastic necks are all bacon-y. These were not the newer materials/cuts they're offering now, but their basic line, and I would never buy them again. They were just as expensive as Nike's base uniform, too, but the quality was far less. Nike's Mach Speed, Pro Combat, Beast, Get Loose, Victory Formation, and Adversary are all great unis. Nothing like Mach Speed or NPC on the market, in my opinion. I have actually heard this a lot lately. Especially with the NFL move to Nike. Not only are they not very durable, some guys aren't getting their stuff on time and some stuff are unavailable after they place their orders. I personally have zero experience with Nike. I like Nike. I think we are going with Adidas this next year. Like their stuff and they are offering quite a bit for coaches. We currently have Riddell and they've been good. Had them for 4 years. And the whites look like we've had them for 4 years. Our home set still looks good. The biggest complaint we've had with the Riddells is how heavy they are and i know they've started addressing this.

i'm not disagreeing.
The question was not, "Should you have girl managers?" or "What are the risks with girl managers?" or "What is some advice for handling female managers?"
All great questions and perfectly suitable for their very own topic. But, not what was asked. I think that happens a lot on here. You get a lot great responses and great answers but they have nothing to do with the questions being asked.
The question was what do some of you have your managers do during practice? Which I piggy backed with, "Does anybody have a practice plan or schedule that they follow?"
Now if somebody would have responded with "Have the Girls do the laundry in the nude" or "Bring water in wet t-shirts" or "Spend time alone with all water girls individually" or "Encourage all managers to personally service all football players," etc. Then all the concerns and advice on how to handle interaction with the managers would be warranted.

thats what i've got to try and get worked out. last year we had like 8 girls interested in being managers. but 4 of them were in athletics because they played basketball or ran track. and our AD decided that they needed to be in offseason during the athletic hour instead of at football. so it was hard to get them to come back out after school since they were no longer getting class credit for it. then we had like 2 or 3 girls that would just leave half way through practice. this is why i'm looking for some help structuring their day, that way it's clear cut at the beginning of the year this is what needs to be accomplished on this day and we'll go from there.

I hand the managers our practice schedule and teach them what materials will be needed at each station for individuals. I also have one film or team sessions. I will also place a manager with a watch if they are responsible and have them notify me when a period change is needed. We have our managers wash towels, put away our jerseys and pants when they are returned from the cleaners. I also have one of them input our stats on-line on Mondays. exactly the kinds of things we have ours do. i'm just looking for a 'script' for the managers. kind of like a weekly job list. our managers were responsible for the same kinds of things, but they dropped the ball a lot of times.
