Tecmo Bowl meant always picking the Giants. Bugged play (TE Hook) that couldn't be stopped. Also, LT could smash Bo in the backfield. You just put LT on the line over the Nose and pressed dive twice= Broken Bo. That also blocked any, and, all, field goals. Man! Did I waste a lot of time on that game.....

Hahaha, thanks Broph, I just had a feeling for some reason that you had already gone out and tried that! I tried creating my own plays on the 2005 Madden but you can't set up the players to do what you want them to or go in jet motions. But I'm running a triple option, sorta, just as a series of complimentary plays that are easy to learn so that might help, i'll go rent it.
Coach rji: Now that's a blast from the past. God I feel old. I had that one and the "two player head-to-head" one that came afterward.
Seeing as we are on the topic of old and new video games, if you guys had to pick one all time favorite game, what would it be?
Mine, without question, was Dodgeball. I think it was the Nintendo version. You had to tap the buttons so much, it gave you arthritis. My second choice would be Blades of Steel, another great Tecmo game.
