describe your offense then pick your all time college players to fit into it (try to make em guys you have seen college film on)
all gun, jets, veer, zone read, some wing-t type misdirection plays off of jet with iso's powers etc standard spread passing game
qb-vince young- texas--big, strong, fast, adequate arm qb2-steve young-byu--same thing but better arm
b back-this is our oneback-earl campbell-texas---man among boys b2-bo jackson-auburn--man among boys
a-this is our jet guy and our vertical threat guy in the passing game, also the guy we throw bubble to a lot---- a1-barry sanders osu-fast, elusive a2-rocket ismail-notre dame not as tough as barry but will do
c-this is our hybrid h back/te/rb/wr guy that does a lot of things c1-dallas clark-iowa- just a tough athlete that can catch c2-keith jackson-ou-same thing as dallas
x and z-wideouts--x is more the speed guy, all must block and be tough x1-tim dwight-iowa-quick/tough/fast x2-anthony carter-michigan-just a good player z1-torry holt-nc state-good player, physical z2-tim brown-notre dame-good player
now to the fun part lt-forrest gregg-smu--best lombardi ever saw is good enough for me lg-john hannah-alabama--roadgrader c-bill fralic-pitt-physical beast rg-tony mandarich-michigan state--i know he played tackle in college and was a bust in the nfl, but he dominated in college rt-orlando pace-osu--beast

Flexbone/Wing-T option with Jet Sweep
QB - Tommie Frazier-Neb./Tony Rice-ND FB - Herschel Walker-UGA/Jim Brown-Syr. HB - Reggie Bush-USC/Ricky Williams-TX WB - Raghib (Rocket) Ismail-ND/Desmond Howard-Mich. SE - Tim Brown-ND/Hines Ward-UGA TE - Leonard Pope-UGA/Jason Witten-Tenn.
Most modern day OLmen wouldn't be the type of athletes I'd want blocking for the option. I'd probably just find the five best blocking FBs/TEs and start them on the OLine.

Might be thinking of good ol "Touchdown" Tommy Vardell that went to Stanford. Haven't come up with my guards yet, but here's mine for a base I formation offense. We run trap, dive, Iso, counter trey, sweep, power: QB--Peyton Manning (Tenn) backed up by Troy Aikman (UCLA) TB--Herchel Walker (GA)backed up by Bo Jackson (Aub). Use Mike Hart in blowout situations. FB--Schlesinger from Neb backed up by Alstott (Purdue). Hmm...might throw power I in with these two! WR--Randy Moss (Marshall) and Calvin Johnson (GT) with Rocket Ismail (ND) as a backup/slot receiver in certain sets. TE--Strictly the U--Winslow Jr. backed up by Shockey Ts--Pace (OSU) and Jake Long (Mich) Long is a current player, but I think he's absolutely dominant. Jon Runyan (Michigan) as a backup. C--Rimington (Neb)--before my time, but I figure the award is named after him, lol. Gs--For some reason, the first name that came to mind was Jean-Giles who played recently for Georgia. I know LSU had a guard two or three years ago I liked a lot, but can't remember his name.

Y: Nasty-split "tight" end, crossing routes and blocking at the second and third levels - Dave Casper, ND
Z: Fastest man on the team that can catch a football, deep and crossing routes, Fly and Rocket Sweeps - Rocket Ismail
F: Hard-blocking single back, inside Fly Dives & Traps - Owen Schmitt, WVU
QB: Joe Roth, Cal
Spread-side Tackle: Anthony Muñoz, USC Spread-side Guard: John Hannah, Alabama Center: Dave Rimington, NU Bunch-Side Guard: Guy McIntyre, Georgia Bunch-side Tackle: Orlando Pace, TOSU

Great call calande. Okoye would be awesome. Especially if it was a Tecmo game. I think he went to Azusa Pacific or something like that. I'm a Chiefs fan mostly because of him. Although, I still would go with some other players in the backfield, because I am not sure he had the greatest college numbers. We run out of Double Wing and Trey Formation stuff when we pass. Double Wing- QB - JC Watts- Oklahoma- My favorite quarterback ever. Good Senator, too. FB - Earl Campbell - Texas - beast RH - Red Grange- Illinois- Gotta put an Illinois guy there- especially the guy who put football on the map LH - Herschel Walker -Georgia - So fun to watch. TE - Ozzie Newsome- Alabama - Great Blocker and Wide Receiver LT - Anthony Munoz -USC - The greatest linemen ever. LG - John Hannah - Alabama - could just destroy people C- Butkus - Illinois- Could move over to play LB, too. RG - Will Shields- Nebraska- one of my favorite linemen. RT - Orlando Pace- OSU- some think he is the best college linemen ever. X - Jerry Rice- Miss. Valley State- He was the lone receiver in the Satellite Express- I believe he could be my lone receiver (when we need to throw) - Trey package TE - Tony Gonzalez - Cal - Best TE in NFL history. Pretty good in college, too. RECEIVERS - Rice - I guess I'll keep him in Larry Fitzgerald- Great college player Raghib Ismail - Great in the slot
