Not nearly there yet, but looking ahead to the season's end, do you guys conduct any sort of exit interviews with all your kids?
If so, I'm curious what questions you ask, and what you're hoping to learn.

We do. We pretty much want to give them time to talk to the HC, their position coaches and coordinators.
Basically questions fall into: -How did the year go (player and coaches perspective) -Offseason plan -Long term goal setting -Brutal honesty.
If a kid thinks I’m a jerk and it makes him hate football, I want to know. If a kid knows of kids we can recruit in the hallway I want to know. If a kid wants to try a different position or make it know they want varsity time I want to know.
Brutal honesty has been the best part of it. We’ve had kids tell us they want to start varsity, us lay out a plan for them to get better (sometimes tough love or realism). More often than not those players have met their goals and exceeded our expectations.

We do.
It's more or less what canesfan does, but it's less of a Q&A session and more of us telling them where they think they need to improve to either get onto the field next year, get onto both sides of the ball, or get to be a better overall player.
The kids who we thought were really disappointing will be more of a Q&A session because we know that we need more out of them.
