Does anyone use Hudl Hit charts when making reports? If so, do you find it useful? I am trying to figure out how it works and before I devote time I wanted to get some feedbacks. Thanks

Tried it this year. I think it's wrong too often to be reliable.

i have started the year wanting to use it, i find it useful if you provide all of the information that it is asking for in order for it to produce what I am looking for.
I dont feel like I have enough time to input all of the needed info, so I just build my own hit chart based on play.

Most of my reports revolve around formations and the hash marks, there's just too much good info from those things. I haven't bothered with hit charts in about 5 years.

Used hit charts one year, but like previously mentioned sometimes tough to get all info in.
Summary Off form>off play Off play>off form Dn>dis>play type Off form>play direction>play type
What are some other go to reports your team uses?

I am going to try your fourth and see what pops up.

We played a team earlier in the year, that in a certain formation they basically only threw to the right and only ran to the left. but in the play direction, it appeared they were 50/50 right to left.

I find them most useful in scripting practice/drawing scout cards personally.

Quick way to see if they run to strength, and if balanced do they have a tendency left or right. If there's something big I'll click on it to see why. Useful some weeks - others not. Just a tool in the tool box.

We include it in our weekly scouting report for the same reason as above. Key is to create a run only playlist.
