If they did not want to fly to NC then why insist that we fly "there"? Home AND home was offered. anyway.....Indy will break that streak.

Is the Byrnes game a Scrimmage or a game???
If they don't come to play vs. Elder the streak will be over some of the best football in the country is played in the Cincy area.

I have a question, Independence is on a 108 game win streak, the nations longest, Why are the only ranked 61 in the nation? I would think that with a record like that, they would be ranked #1 (this is according to max preps btw).

DeLaSalle backed out of a series with Southlake Carroll according to another website, so Southlake will play another national power Miami Northwestern early this coming season. Luke

#61 ranking shows the lack of respect that I spoke of. Are we Texas? No. Fla? No. but our best can compete with theirs. As far as coming to play against Elder..You don't win 108 in a row by takin a day off. Indy may win or lose...but if they lose it will be because Elder wore their butts out....not due to a bad day...indy did however lose their top returning man on their D this past week to transfer. I doubt that scrimmage will end the streak either way..not sure how it is in Ohio but in NC scrimmages are not games...they are practices. I know many coaches in our area use scrimmages as a chance to move guys around and experiment...I know this particular scrimmage may be a lil different due to its nature....

Coach Bruce, I see you found the site!
Folks, Indy has offered to play the best teams in their own state as a showcase game. Richmond for one wouldn't step up.
Raleigh/Wke County area teams have been for the most part pitiful during Indy's run. Only 1-2 average or better teams in the whole area and none in the elite category for the last 6-8 years.

Coaches - Be wary of using maxpreps rankings for high school teams. They use a pretty exotic formula to calculate their rankings. I prefer to take a look at either www.prepnation.com or USA Today. Prep Nation had Indy ranked #9 at the end of last season and 6th after the 2005 season. USA Today had them 8th.

HEY TWISTER...yep, this place is awesomer than awesome. I did not know and can't imagine Richmond backing down. WOW! I guess when ya run a MSEC schedule ya don't really need to add another heavyweight. Especially a superheavyweight.

Coach Bruce,
DLS does not duck anybody. They only have the funds to make one trip out of the state or travel within the state, primarily in southern California(LB Poly, Mission Viejo, Mater Dei, etc) . The head coach, does not want his team to become a traveling circus, and if Indy really wanted that game they would have come to play in California just like ECA(they wanted a home & home contract too but only played in one, in Ca). If Indy still wants that game, well they are going to have to stand in line with everyone else.

I don't think they are interested...the mystique is gone. Now Indy is the hunted. The line begins in Charlotte. You are welcome to use your "1" trip to come on down.
