My wife and i just bought our first house. I got the OK to make one of our extra bedrooms my man cave/football room What would you include in an awesome football room ? Thinking L shaped desk in one corner, whiteboard in a wall, big TV on a wall Probably a futon in there somewhere so we could also use it as an extra guest bed if we need one Just looking for some cool ideas you guys have either done or seen somewhere If there's room how about a stationary bike or treadmill?

Don’t do the white board... Go with white board paint on a wall! I love it and would never do a white board again! It will cost you more money than a white board, but it is totally worth it. My kids also have an area on the wall they know they can go draw on, and I enjoy when they leave me pictures haha Does this stuff actually work that well? We just bought a home as well, and I'm fortunate enough to have an office. I've thought about this before I'm just concerned. The wall is a little textured, which I could sand down.. I'm just terrified I'm going to paint a wall and the marker won't erase all the way, or it'll be funky to draw on. Maybe I'm just paranoid, I just don't want to screw up the one thing my wife allows me to do

For me the paint wasn’t a perfect white color. Maybe I applied it to thick, but you can tell something is different about that wall. Also it’s like any other white board. I’ve used it a lot so there are parts that still have some black smudge or “markings” on the wall.
Every time I bring it up to my wife she just says it’s no big deal that if we ever have to we can prime it and paint over it

I brought the paint idea up to my wife and she raised a good question... how do you get rid of it when you want to change the room? sand it off? paint over it?

I am currently leaning toward turning the garage into a home gym. 2 car garage but I have never parked inside in my life. Neither of us has actually... Weather is pretty good most of the time so thinking home gym and park in the driveway

Get it set up before she changes her mind. . What difference does it make? It's gonna end up in the garage.

I've used this: white erase roll to make some dry erase boards. It's not quite as good as the expensive dry erase boards, but it's pretty close, and a lot better than the white wallboard from Lowe's. Also, projector > tv. Watching film on 110" screen is life changing.

I have a treadmill with walking desk in my basement. I mounted projector on ceiling and made a DIY screen off Pinterest that looks professional. Get some exercise while watching film.

Don’t they sell paint that can work as a dry erase board?!?
Although at the rate I burn through paper and dry erase markers I’d probably warp the Sheetrock
