Well gentlemen, after 28 years of coaching middle school, high school and college, I’m hanging up my whistle. I’ve enjoyed my time as a coach and learning from you, but it’s time to go. It’s a young mans game and I’m not young anymore. I wish you all success in your upcoming seasons and careers.
Keep moving those chains boys.

I agree with Chi. I'm 59 and I still love it. Being retired and having a mostly young staff helps keep me young. The school I'm at is a huge challenge to turn around but what fun would it be otherwise? Most of my day is free to do what I want and vacations happen mostly when I want to. You might be able to have the best of both worlds. Plus, what are you going to do with all the books, etc. and experience you have? Good Luck either way.
