Several years ago at a Glazier Clinic we heard an AD/HFC talk about the athletic programs working together to create one program that supported each other.
We have been working with our AD and have started some preliminary steps in getting this rolling.
1. An athletic department: Mission/Vision statement 2. a Motto- perhaps a yearly process 3. a set of core values
Has anyone else been through this process? The speaker we say was in Illinois and has since moved on.

An AD understanding the importance of the weight room for all sports and genders would be the biggest, IMO.

An AD understanding the importance of the weight room for all sports and genders would be the biggest, IMO. Our AD is on board with the weight room, it has been a process to get other programs to buy in...I think the weight room buy in is part of his push.
On Board in the Weight Room: Boys: Football, basketball, wrestling, hockey, baseball, track Girls: Basketball, softball, dance and cheer
Not on Board:
Boys: Golf, cross country, soccer, tennis Girls: Golf, Volleyball, Track, cross country, tennis, hockey
