Do your players wear traditional thigh pads in their pants even with the thigh pads in the girdle?

We went away from traditional girdles to the built in ones. When they first came out I thought that there wasn’t a ton of padding, but I’ve been proven wrong.
The kids just wear the built in ones and the bonus of no one ever forgetting one thigh pad at any away game.

Integrated and they are well worth the money.

I encourage our kids to use the 7 pad full girdles. Even have knee pads in them. No one forgets their pads that way!

I encourage our kids to use the 7 pad full girdles. Even have knee pads in them. No one forgets their pads that way! We just went to that this past season. Kids liked them but we had problems with our Nike game pants sliding up over the knee pad. Refs removed several kids from games until they taped the pants down to keep them from sliding up

Most of our kids end up buying their own 7 pad one piece unit, so we have started to purchase them for the entire program. It has saved a ton of time, energy, and sleepless nights of who was going to forget what on gameday.
