Glitter in the eye, had to miss the second half kick-off. Just wanted to let everyone know this happened last week.

Saw a cheerleader get demolished once trying to run across the back of one, like 4 kids either stepped on or tripped over her

Our state banned banner-run throughs a few years ago. A cheerleader holding the banner got pulled down in front of the team and trampled.

There's a team near us that will only run through a banner to start the second half once playoffs start.

Our cheerleaders usually set the banner up, just in front of the shot put ring. Fortunately i catch it before we run out.

This, in addition to CTE, just adds to the ever growing evidence that this sport is too dangerous

WOW! Who would've thought? You really can't make this stuff up! I guess that's another one I need to add to my "New HC To(NOT) DO" list...

We had one go down running through the banner at the start of the game Friday night. Fortunately, no severe injuries.

I've never seen a team run though one without some sort of mishap. Kind of like fireworks on the 4th of July.

an area team near me had the starting qb tear his acl running through the banner before a game. Now I don't believe that had there been no banner the kid never would have tore his acl but that is a really bad way to miss the rest of the season.
