Your logic and argument style is a pretty good argument for the existence of CTE and brain damage from playing football.

Here is some food for thought. A lot of these ex players that have had their brains looked at played during a time when drug usage was rampant. How come none of the CTE studies include that data? Is cocaine not harmful to your brain? Second and this isnt rocket science, when I played if you hit a guy with your helmet you got a flag. We were not taught to lead with the helmet and if we did we got called. Then guys like Chuck Cecil did it on sundays and we thought it was great! Hell he even had a 2nd layer added to his helmet so he could do it without injuring himself. Science can be debated, global warming is a prime example of that. Data can say what you want it to say, ask any CEO or Police Chief in the country. So are these new rules safer, maybe yet to be seen. But as coaches we should care more about the safety of our players than the game. But lets face it we don't. Why, lose and get fired. So are you willing to lose and get fired to protect your players? Me yes cause football doesn't pay my mortgage. If I get fired just means my wife wont be pissed 7 months of the year...
